Persuasive Speech On Disneyland

It’s the end of the year and we’ve gotten our final marks, our end result, we’ve proved we can do it, we’ve take a step for our future, and now, it’s time for a well deserved summer of fun. Fifth grade, the last year in elementary school, all year long we’ve learned, we’ve learned for our future, for our career, for the importance and opportunity of education. Now, school’s out and everyone is rejoicing, we’ve worked hard all year long and now we are ready for some relaxation and days of doing nothing, but not me, me I’m ready for Disneyland. My family and I have been talking about this for two weeks and we’re finally here! I could never have possibly imagined that we’d be in Disneyland for my birthday! My family and I are standing outside because the line is incredibly long but my dad swore that we would ride the Pirates of the Caribbean ride on my birthday. The California sun is hot as it beats down on everyone standing below it. I don’t notice the heat but I do notice the humidity, it’s so different than the thin dry air we have in Colorado. When I breathe in it’s as if the air is flooding my lungs, this makes it difficult to breathe, but I don’t care the abundance of smells that overflow my nose are worth it. I can smell millions of different kinds of food, I smell cinnamon, vanilla, oranges, barbeque, pickles, chile, chocolate, and things I can’t even name, all flooding my senses and making me want to just sit on the warm concrete and take it all in.
