Phineas Gage Biography
Phineas Gage was a 25 year old American construction foreman born in Grafton County, New Hampshire on July 9, 1823. Gage was one of the youngest men at his worksite. While at the moment was known for the good foreman which he was, his name quickly changed into one of the great names in psychology.
It was an ordinary day at work while packing explosive powder into a hole while working on a railroad bed, he took a quick second to look up at his workers who were putting up a fight that was being started, but he didnt know that was the worst mistake of his life. The gunpowder it quickly denoted, sending a 13 pound tamping iron straight up into gages bottom left cheek bone, exiting through the top of his head. This damaged most of his left brain,
