After a pause, she said, “It will be soiled akka (sister). My mom gifted me this. Asha Continued, “Yesterday was my birthday. I asked her a pair of new chappals as my gift. In spite of her too little earnings, she also bought me an extra new dress which I am wearing now”. Pinky was almost tattered hearing this and stood still as she felt all her blood vessels bursting in distress. The girl added, “I lost my mother now. I cried for the whole day, I cried for losing her, I cried for losing my home... I yelled, I shouted, I banged my head on the walls; I kicked ‘and punched everything I found. And after all that, now I am recovering.” Pinky was thunderstruck. ‘How this girl is bearing all the emotional pains and now telling that she is recovering…that too in a single day?, Should I need to console her or appreciate and uplift her’, she was
