A commandment given to believer in Christ is to not murder on another. There are many referenced to not committing murder in the Bible, but the specific commandment was given in Exodus 20:13, this is one of the ten commandments. Not only is murder a sin, it is also goes against the United States constitution. By the Government funding Planned Parenthood it is giving women to opportunity to commit murder. Also, in Deuteronomy 30:19, the Lord says, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live…” (BIBLE). Women who choose to terminate their pregnancy are going against God’s word. They are not choosing life, instead they are choosing death for their seed. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, God calls believers to treat our bodies like a temple, he would not consider having a child ripped from one’s self to be honoring to their body. Although Planned Parenthood will never say so directly, they often do not tell patients all necessary information. Women are often pushed into the procedure without being provided information on the health risks that can come with abortion. As well, as that they are terminating a human life (SOURCE 3). Planned Parenthood will never admit to terminating another person’s life, because they overlook that a fetus is living. However, add something about fetus being alive. A mother terminating her own child, the exact opposite of how a mother should act (SOURCE 3). It is a mother’s instinct to protect and take care of her child. By aborting the child, the mother is doing the opposite. Add something about PP persuading. The Federal Government should not be funding and supporting a company that persuades mothers to deny their motherly instinct and terminate their child’s
life. Add paragraph about women regrets. In discussion of abortion, one controversial issue had been emotional damage. On one hand, Planned Parenthood argues that it does not cause any emotional damage to patients. On the other hand, pro-lifers and statistics contends abortions do. Women who face abortion often deal with guilt, anger, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and even suicide ideation (SOURCE 3). These side effects come from the traumatic experience involved in abortion. When the women are not given proper information, and are pressured into the decision, they then regret their choice and may face these side effects. Having guilt and regret about their abortion may cause the women to have all the other emotional destructions as well. The only true cure to this problem is by taking Government funding away from Planned Parenthood, and making abortion illegal. Add more.
