Playground Observation Paper

 There were 12 Toddlers and 3 Infants that were played on the ground.

 The Ratio was 3 staff for the toddlers and 1 staff for infants on the playground.

 Break time ratio was changed.

 Staff interacted with the children while they were playing.

 Staff quickly acted when the children felt unsafe.

 For communication, a telephone was accessible outside of the Child care Centre
 There were 14 preschoolers that played on the playground.

 One special need child was observed by 1 staff. 3 of the other staff observed the rest of the preschool children. The ratio was 1: 8.

 The staff would interact with the children often.

 A telephone was placed on the outside wall for emergency contact.
