Police and Law Enforcement Response
Police have many roles in society, to uphold and enforce the law without judgment, to protect all human life, human rights and liberty. Police promote and preserve public order, they also protect public properties. They create a feeling of safeness with-in the community, they provide assistance to people who are in danger. Facilitate orderly movement of people and vehicles, control and regulate traffic on roads and highways.
If the role of police officers were changed or become lessened, I believe it would be complete pandemonium and chaos. Police handle crime control and give a sense of order they provide peace keeping and rule enforcement in our society. Community policing allows an alliance between the police and the community. It facilitates a more effective response to the problems within the community. Lessening of the police would have a huge negative impact on the community. I feel that lessened community policing would not only make communities less safe but also leave the responsibility more on the community than if the police were to stay actively involved.
Daily issues such as probable cause affect police from a legal standpoint because probable cause calls for sufficient evidence in order to arrest or convict. If the police do not have probable cause, it makes it very difficult to take a criminal into custody. Probable cause is also known for things like search warrants. The same thing applies in this type of case, if the evidence is not there, the police have no rights. I feel that a way to improve these issues in a way that will aid police organizations in combating crime is something that is very difficult to do. Citizens have their rights and police must follow the law. I guess a way to improve these types of issues would be to try and change some of the laws without violating civil rights.

486). Community policing also gives more responsibilities to the officers for the same amount of pay which many are just not willing to assume. Training techniques and hiring practices all have to be restructured and renovate which can be costly in large amounts of time and money. In order to make a difference in today 's society, the police department must get out here and give back to the community they serve. I believe that if more police officers would volunteer and mentor at the schools this would promote better police-community partnership. It would show the community that they do care and it starts with our…

Probable cause can affect a police officers job in the most extreme ways. Probably cause4 is a certain type of evidence that can be contributed for reasonable suspicion of a suspect or criminal. When the probable cause is not as strong on the fact of evidence against that person, it can make the job of an officer harder as they try to arrest the criminal. When the probable cause is in the stronger side of reason or evidence, the officer’s job becomes much easier to explain and an easier decision for them to make as an officer also has to make sure to abide by our rights and laws. I believe we can help the officers facing these issues by supporting and contributing to their needs as a force that is against the majority of our crime in our communities. Keeping watch and setting priority to the needs we have for an officer. Respecting and even helping an officer’s decision when we can and making sure that we practice all needs of our community force in policing.…

By definition, the police are a constituted body of persons empowered by the state to enforce the law, protect property, and limit civil disorder. Many people in today’s society do not trust the police. Many feel that the police are out to get them. While some feel that police keep our society in tact, some feel that they are given way to much power. Policing predominantly concerns the preservation of order and peace in our country. With that being said, keeping peace is much different from what I feel that our police enforcement agencies in this country actually do. Often, they do the opposite. Trying to find anything and everything that a citizen is doing incorrectly is not keeping peace. In fact, this causes the distancing between our police and the citizens they are policing.…
