There are many things that are good and bad about the many Governments that run their countries. What is a good government to you?

In my opinion a good government is many things. Firstly I feel a government should always make decisions that is best for the people they are making decisions for; an example you and I. The types of decisions that would keep us safe from harm, safe from scrutiny, persecution, racism and so on. The most important thing I feel as far as a good government would be keeping the country they are leading safe from recession, from collapse, and most importantly from extinction. What I think a good government should do. I feel a good government should create jobs, or make it easier for “people” to create jobs. I feel the government should secondly try and keep from borrowing from other countries, I feel due to this we are lacking in major presence globally because we are in a sense “broke”.

I feel the government should print the money we have for currency instead of a localized central bank. Expanding this thought I feel a good government should run a currency on a good equal standard not credit and paper that has no backing or I like to call “Invisible Money”. While it is nice to have global presence as well as the strength that America has I feel there has to be a line where we sit back and take care of our own country and stop worrying about other countries. I feel a good government should incorporate the “people” more from the simple joe to the powerful rich banker. A Presidential election for example seems to be ran more on money then it is the purpose of what the election is for. I feel a good government should keep to their word when they are running for office or promise to do things, they should, should they get into office.

So let me begin. I feel the best government to be ran is Democracy for the simple fact that the “people” do get a hand in many choices

The recent events in the news pertaining to the government shows that there is a problem and that a reform is needed in the near future. The things happening in the governments shows that they are becoming a bigger entity than anticipated and that their size is too big to govern them adequately. The missteps of the Internal Revenue Service in which they abused their taxing authority to hunt and hinder political opponents; congressmen who engaged in related party transactions; the administration hiring family members of major media executives; and regulators seeking rents from regulated companies.…

An effective government is one that will responsibly carry out and defend the wishes and rights of the people, while keeping the country stable and strong. Between the years 1781 to 1789, the Articles of Confederation did not provide the United States with an effective government. The Articles of Confederation lacked adequate powers to deal with economic, foreign commerce and foreign relations. It also did not have the power to enforce its will on the states.…

Alexander Hamilton stated, “It has been observed that a pure democracy if it were practicable would be the most perfect government. Experience has proved that no position is more false than this. The ancient democracies in which the people themselves deliberated never possessed one good feature of government. Their very character was tyranny; their figure deformity.” A democracy, also known as a republican government, has been implemented in many societies. It grants every citizen their voice and furthers political equality amongst all. It supports our decision…

In my eyes the government should put the people first 100% of the time. If leaders don’t make decisions based on what the people want, it leads to an unbalance and a disconnect between the people and government. That’s why so many people today distrust the government because they feels as if the government doesn’t represent them, like their voice isn’t heard. People in power should be the first ones to help in times of trouble. They should be a rock and bright light for those who feel hopeless. People in power should assist in every possible way in times of tragedy because its shows that you care about the everyday person, not just the person that cast a vote. In America, the President should be the one everybody can count on to be a symbol of hope and freedom. After all, the President is the leader of the free world. All in all, people in power should always have the best interest of the people in mind and should always be an honest and reliable outlet for their people.…

It is known that a state without government is a state in chaos and confusion. What the best possible form of government should be has been debated by political philosophers over time. To vigorously ensure the well-being of a state, the government of that state should be absolute or one in which all power is vested in a single ruler. A monarch's authority to govern should be absolute because God establishes kings, decisions would be made quicker, and there would be less conflict between differing parties.…

A good government is a reflection of its citizens. The mechanics of a good government distinguish it from different governments around the world. However, how a government elects its leader is a big part of the way it runs in general. Many governments have different systems in which they elect their leader. In North America, electing a leader is a big responsibility for the citizens of that country. Particularly in Canada, our electoral system has been the same for many years and relies on the citizens to make a decision. Canada uses a system called first-past the-post or single member plurality . This system consists of a simple objective; to receive a majority of the votes . This system has worked well for many years without any major issues.…

In Common Sense, Thomas Paine says that the purpose of a government is to protect life, liberty and property. He says that the way we judge a government should only rest upon how the government preforms this action. If the government does a great job protecting life, liberty and property then therefore the government is good. Likewise, if the government does a horrible job at it then it is bad. This idea of just stating what a government is supposed to be started something bigger than anything any country has ever done and it made America the greatest example for revolting against its…

Even though government provides a lot of facilities to us but still there are some things that are not perfect and I would like to change. There are some opportunities that are limited to rich people and middle class people still can't achieve their American Dream. So I would like to make these opportunities reachable to middle class people. No more Lobbyists, to many agendas, greed, corruption. Our Politicians should answer to their constituency. Looking at other countries, America is the country with less corruption but still there are some leaders who are corrupted and just care about money. Most of the leaders promise to public to have new opportunities and other useful policies for them in future but never make these promises true. I would like to have government more careful about their public and not just rich people but also middle class people. The care of human life and happiness, and not destruction, is the first and only object of good…

The main differences in a positive and negative government are the way people perceive the government. A positive way means a person feels that the government is in favor of what they believe. When it comes to laws that government created for us, a person may feel that the government dictates on what can be done and what cannot be done. Some American’s feel that they relate more to a particular party more than the other party and they believe the views of that party.…
