Poseidon A Greek God

Poseidon is a Greek god. He is the son of a Titan named Cronus. Poseidon had five siblings; Zeus, Hades, Hestia, Hera and Demeter. He had lots of children and lots of wives. When he was born he chose the sea to rule because it was full of adventure and unknown (“Poseidon”). Poseidon was the god of the sea. His symbols were the horse, and the trident. He was the god of the sea and earthquakes. He also created a lot of animals trying to impress his loved ones. He can control water and start earthquakes. He is Olympian but the son of titans. He lives on MT. OLYMPUS. He is immortal and has no weaknesses (Barbara 1143-1150). Poseidon chose the sea to rule. He chose it because it was very large, vast, and filled with things to explore. He built a big palace in his realm. He wanted to rule Attica but the people were very scared of him. He tried to give them a gift by stabbing his trident into a mountain making a waterfall but Athena came in and planted an olive tree. Poseidon liked to scare people with the monsters he made but he also would use some to impress his ladies. While trying to impress Demeter he made the animal called the Horse and she thought it was so beautiful that she forgot about him and
