Positive Attitude

The main idea of the three essays is the focus of students attitudes towards teachers, and school, and why don’t students realize that searching the internet for their knowledge is not always good because getting the answers from the internet and not learning the way that they should is not always good, because they are not going to benefit from it always. The main idea also consist of The different types of ideas that teachers can use to try to prevent some of the negative attitudes and actions that students use towards them. The purpose of the essays are to help students develop a more positive attitude towards their teachers and towards school. Another purpose is for teachers to gain more knowledge of how to control the types of negative attitudes that they may be receiving from their students. Teachers all across the United States have experienced all different types of attitudes whether they were good or bad. For the most part, teachers across the U.S. are concerned about the bad attitudes that they have received from students. Some teachers are wondering why some students respond so negatively now days. The questions that some teachers ask is could they be the blame for students attitudes, and their actions towards school. Some teachers also ask why are the kids growing up in this generation different from the kids who grew up in the earlier generations. Some teachers believe that if teachers have a list of rules printed in the syllabus, and go over them the first day of class, and stick to those rules to the fullest, and not loosen up a bit, students will take the class a little more serious than what they do. Some teachers hear a lot of talk about the weakness of academic of first time freshmen entering college. It is said that it is not uncommon to find 18 year olds’ who have problems with reading according to (Thomas H. Benton….. 19-20). Examples are coming to class more often, being on time, and students will possibly have better attitudes.
