Power Ranger Ethos Pathos Logos
A good advertisement must consist of the mode known as logos, ethos, and pathos. The best advertisement will consist all three knowing that it will align with the human emotional and logical mode of thinking in order to fully persuade what the creator want the receiver to act upon. The millennial generation have the highest level of trust in advertisement (Nielsen). Majority of the content created by marketer is directed toward children. Kids represent a huge demographics as they have their own purchasing power and ties huge influences to their parent’s buying power and are the adult consumer of the future. Marketing an airline service to children required ethos that they are familiar with. Howard Aviation is an airline that is made up and so it doesn't have credibility behind it. One key way to made up for this is to build ethos using a character that many children are familiar with. The use of the Power Ranger …show more content…
Using the Power Ranger help brand Howard Aviation to be more playful and adventurous. The Power Ranger is known for protecting the world from evil. The memory associated with it can contain many memory of action packed scene that the Power Ranger do in their TV series. The Power Ranger is always saving the world, having the white Ranger telling the target audience that he “need help saving the world” created an reaction in the target audience which automatically engage the target audience, which are children, to already decide on something without even thinking about it. The answer could be yes or no, the good thing is that they are making a decision and letting the ad make them think about it. A good ad is able to engage the target audience both directly and indirectly. The idea is to have the children save the world by flying Howard Aviation will persuade the children to fly Howard Aviation to have that feeling of saving the world when he/she first fly on Howard
