Racism is a young colored girl with her head down to avoid the glares, walking slowly to then sit down at an all white girl table to then be abandoned at the table while the other girls strut away with a smug grin and laugh as they sit at another table. Each and everyday, Beonka struggles to fit in, it seems that no matter what she does, she ends up walking home struggling to swallow the tears down. Beonka had just moved from louisiana, and already was scared she would get killed.
