1.2) Explain how effective communication affects all aspects of your work.
Effective communication is a central part of the work that happens in a care settings will need to develop a range of communication skill and be able to use them effectively to carry out the various aspects of your work a work role.

You will need to be able to communicate with service users, their relatives and colleagues. As well as colleagues from other agencies you should always summarise what the other person has said as a way of checking and conforming your understanding of what they mean. Using empathy to try understanding the other person’s point of view or the way they might be affected by what your are saying to them. Good eye contact and appropriate body language make communication more effective. Being respectful, consistent in your approach, and patient in the way you listen and respond to people in your work setting, will encourage them to trust and communicate with you. if you have effective communication it also helps build up relasionships within ,if communication is not effective ,it will effect all aspects of your work within the setting it and will create a bad atmosphere between yourself and staff you will not know what to do in your care setting.

1.3) explain why it is important to observe individuals reactions, when communicating with them.

when your observing an individuals reactions while communicating its important to pay attention to facial reactions .actions show a lot if they are lying or don’t understand you or if they’re bored . You need to observe individuals reactions to check that the time and place of a conversation is appropriate, make sure that a person is comfortable with the conversation taking
