That anyone who purchases one cannot be up to anything legal (Keefe). As many gun owners would agree, the purpose of these large magazines is to go to the range and not have to worry about reloading. One hassle of having a short magazine is the pain of having to stop firing and spend several minutes filling it back up. The offender was shot four times before he could continue his rampage through the town.
