Pro Life Vs Pro Choice Research Paper
The debate of Pro Life versus Pro Choice has been debated for many years. The people who believe in Pro Life believe that abortion is murder and should be outlawed to protect the lives of innocence babies. On the other side, the people who believe in Pro Choice believe that women should have the right to choose a safe, legal abortion and that women should be able to control their own thoughts, feelings, bodies, and futures . Although both sides have been trying to persuade the other that its position is right, I believe the real question is "Should abortions be illegal for women to obtain?"
To establish an answer to this question we must first exam the issue of when does human life begin? Scientists identify the first moment of human life

From the day you are born, learning and education are the most important skills for survival in today's society. The most valuable thing learned on your journey of life is the ability to distinguish "Right from Wrong", both technically and morally. Though easy at first with the minor day to day issues we deal with, it can become quite difficult when more pressing issues are placed in front of you. Many things influence a person's judgment. While one person believes that their view is the absolute truth, another sees that person as idiotic and uneducated. The important thing to remember when making a decision is to be open-minded, and push the outside influences away so that you can see both sides of the issue and make a decision for yourself. Is there really a moral right or wrong, or is it just a view point?…

There are three main different views of the abortion debate. Most of the debate is if the fetus is considered a human or not is the main argument. For the pro-life side of the abortion debate, they mainly say that it should be considered human. Of course the pro-choice feel just the opposite usually. I personally, consider myself to be Pro-Life because I don’t think that we have enough information on the fetus and I could never consider killing a human (or even a fetus). I feel that the parents should have taken responsibility and taken the appropriate actions such as choosing abstinence, or at least using contraceptives. Hopefully, you will agree after looking at the opposition and their views/arguments against my view.…

Abortion is one of the most divisive moral issues of America today. The Roe vs. Wade court case in 1973 made the debate national. This case was filed by a pregnant woman, Norma McCorvey, against Henry Wade, the district attorney of Texas. In Texas, abortion was illegal. This court case overturned the previous law on abortion and made it a right to privacy between a woman and her doctor up until the third trimester in order to coincide with the 14th Amendment and also balance with why the state wanted it to be illegal in the first place; to protect prenatal life and women’s health. Now a day, 2% of women between the ages 15-44 will have an abortion. Out of all the teens that partake in sexual intercourse, 19% of them will become pregnant with 78% of those pregnancies unplanned and about 4 out of 10 unplanned pregnancies result in abortion.…

There are a mass amount of controversies when the word “abortion” is brought into awareness. This dispute has brought about both positive and negative affects on society. Abortion plays a major role in the everyday life of a human. People base their political parties, and even the jobs they choose to work at, all depending whether the host is pro-life or pro-choice. I personally am pro-life. I have made the decision of being pro-life based on multiple observations. Some of these observations include you are murdering your own child, you need to face the consequences of your actions, and to give people who are not able to have their own offspring a chance to be a mother/parent.…

Imagine a young child at the playground, slipping down a slide, swinging on the monkey bars, and laughing with glee. When a mother decides to get an abortion, that entire image goes away with a blink of an eye. What that mother might not know is her child might be the next person to cure cancer or be the greatest movie star of all time. The public is divided on this issue and they do not know if one should be pro-life or pro-choice. People that believe in pro-choice think the decision should be up to the mother. It is the mother’s body and she should have the right to decide what happens to it. However, every life matters and the child should not be in the cross fire of the mother’s decision. Abortion violates the child’s right to live and…

There are two different viewpoints on abortion. Pro-choice and pro-life. Let’s start with the easy one. Pro-life means that a person is completely against abortion. The pro-life viewpoint is the belief that abortion is considered taking the life a human, which would mean that life begins at conception. People may have this viewpoint for religious values, or even their personal moral values, and believe that abortion for anyone is wrong. Pro-choice is a little bit harder to describe. It doesn’t mean pro-abortion, it literally concerns the word choice. People that are pro-choice believe that it is a person’s personal decision as to whether or not they get an abortion. Somebody may be completely against abortion personally, but may still be pro-choice because they believe that it is a person’s decision and that right should not be…

The Pro-Lifers believe that the unborn fetuses have as much rights as a born child and that to terminate the pregnancy would be the same as murdering a person outside the womb. The Pro-Choicers believe it is up to the individual person to make the decision whether to continue the pregnancy or terminate. They may not personally believe in abortion, but they feel it is not their place to decide what a woman should do with her body.…
