Goal of interaction: My goal of this interaction was to engage the client in dialogue to gain further information into there disease process.
Description of environmental setting:
The environment that I pictured was a cold and drab place. I thought that all the clients would be so sedated that they would just walk around like zombies. the environment at the hospital was quite nice and the clients seemed to enjoy it.
Feeling/Mood:
Student Nurse's:
I was a little nervous at first because I didn't know what kind of patients to expect if they would be acting out . After interacting with the clients, I was a little more at ease.
Client's:
The client was calm and very cooperative and willing to converse with me.
Unit Milieu:
The client seemed comfortable in his surroundings, the area was open so the clients could move around if need be. Also it was made to feel like home.
