EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
ABSTRACT
This is a research report for an Online Hotel Reservation System that are for customers to make online reservations and for hotel personnel to manage reservations and content of the web application.
The problems with the current system which were discovered during business studies are time consuming reservation process, ambiguity view of hotel condition, static content in online system and lack of housekeeping management system. The Online Hotel Reservation is important to the success of the hotel management which offer the speed and convenient of one-stop availability check, instance purchase and confirmation in reservation process. The system to be developed would also allow staff to run the management effectively by updating all data on the internet 24 hours a day without involving a web designer.
The Research on this Project is conducted by visiting the websites of various hotels and material on hotel reservation all from the internet. The methodology applied in developing this system is Waterfall Paradigm.
INTRODUCTION
The Online Hotel compose by a web server (PHP) which can be accessed from any place in the world, hence there is an internet connection, which allows the hotel management to serve their clients fast and comfortably. This is an Advantage to the management for having information Technology.
This proposed project will support the hotel administrations to render more services to clients in much easier, faster, accurate and presented style.
