Park in Covered Areas: When possible, keep your car under cover of a garage or carport, especially during turbulent weather. It isn't just hail that can strike a windshield, but loose debris, rocks, and anything else the wind can carry. Even if the weather isn't bad, covered parking areas can still protect your car from errant baseballs and the like.…

A student must circle around each floor and sometimes drive around the same floor of the deck twice in case they missed a spot. It is nearly impossible to find a perfect spot, so the only thing a person can do is to get the first spot available to them even if it is located in one of the highest floors. One must leave their house or apartment extra early especially if they have a morning class just to find parking. Truly, it does take a lot of time, and even worse when it is packed. All in all, parking is one of the aspects of Montclair that I was not expecting, but it is something that I must adapt to in order to continue making the most out of my college…

Parks are wonderful places were children can play and be social with others. Children are able to explore and develop their motor skills while having fun and at the same time be physically active. Milam Park has both good and bad qualities about it, but overall I believe that it is not an ideal park. It sits on a 1.02-acre lot and has a fence on only the back and sides of the property. The fence only marks off the property line from the homes around it. There is no fencing or railing in the front portion that could prevent a child from running into the street. I would recommend that there be some kind or railing or fencing either around the playground were most of the children play or along the front of the park property to prevent children…

“I honestly do not have a problem with campus parking,” said Slater. “Every day I have to be on campus by 8:00am; therefore, parking is always available for me. When I am on campus, I make sure I stay until my day is completed. I live off campus so I have a black commuter parking pass, which allows me to park in various places. Most of my classes are in Wallace Hall or Patterson Hall so the parking area in front of those two buildings is where I park at most of the time. The only problem that I encounter with on campus parking is when I want to leave campus for lunch, and I come back and they are not any parks available. My problem is easily solved by going to another black commuter parking lot, but I might have to walk a long distance to my class. I do like the fact that after 5pm I do not have to worry about parking in a black commuter parking…
