I disagree with decriminalizing marijuana. Marijuana has been seen as a treatment for many medical issues. But, then we have to take into consideration that legalizing marijuana has many negative affects to society. Marijuana would become a risk to public safety, damage to health, jeopardize young people, lead to use of other illegal drugs and cost tax dollars. We could theorize marijuana to alcohol, both of these drugs risk adds burdens to public funds (state funds). If marijuana was legalized it would have a subsequent increase in addiction.
