As you drive through connestee which has privately owned land it is a no hunting area you tend to see lots of deer that are very skinny and malnourished this is caused by overpopulation due to no hunting. Living in North Carolina we have a very big population that participates in wildlife-related recreation, this involves hunting, fishing, and wildlife watching. Hunting is not only good for the environment, it is also good for the animals. The money that is spent to buy weapons, equipment, expenses for travel, and license go through the government for taxes is used to enhance habitats, to manage, and keeps state parks clean. Without hunting animal population would be overpopulated and lead to issues like disease and lack of food.
