Pros And Cons Of Legalizing Weed

Weed Shouldn't Be Legalized When you read the topic of this essay you will realize that the main goal of this essay is to show the cons of weed and its bad effects on the smokers around the world. According to the United Nations "3.8% of the people around the world smoke weed at least once a year, in other words 266 million smoke weed." Most of the smokers are young men and women among 18-22 years old, if you are a high school student or university student, it is more likely to have a friend who smoke weed. Moreover, according to National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) "the percent of the people who have smoked weed in the U.S in 2001-2002 was 4.1%, but now the percent has doubled to 9.1% which means 30 million of people who live in America have smoked weed, and 2.9% of those people used weed to treat medical disorders."
So when we are trying to stop weed's spread, we protect our society and countries. One of the reasons that lead to the spread of weed among young people is the media. Some TV shows and movies which are popular show that the heroes smoke weed, or the people who smoke weed are funny and it is easy to make friends if you smoke weed which lead young people to smoke weed. Some people think that weed is good to support the economy of countries that legalize weed. However, I disagree with their idea, there are many healthy ways to support economy, and weed is not the only way to support the economy. I believe that weed is bad because its effects on our health and behavior. I have written some information about the number of people who smoke and the dangerous of weed on smokers. In the rest of the essay I am going to write weed's effects. In other words, I am going to answer the big questions which are why weed is bad. What should we do to protect the next generation
