Which leads me to feature two by examining the definition of terms,
this is nothing more than another form of a nicotine delivery system. People seem to believe what they see on either television or social media, instead of researching further, if they would do this, they would find that the true facts lean towards a far more detrimental effect. As stated in feature five they should consider the alternative interpretations of research evidence, that seems to show cause and effect. According to the CDC (Center of Disease Control) any tobacco products should be considered harmful, until proven safe, not the other way around. One fact people don’t know, is that they (CDC) have seen an increase number of nicotine poison cases, do to e-cigarettes. Therefore, be cautious in drawing conclusions from “evidence”.
In conclusion e-cigarettes HAVE to fall under the definition of pseudoscience. There is too much evidence and facts to prove that this is a ‘false science’ at best. I’m glad that this chapter was on this subject, because in picking this topic, it leads me to a lot of facts through my research and to the conclusion that I would NEVER consider using this product to quit smoking.
