Under the equality act 2010 Education providers must make reasonable adjustments and changes to areas such as practices, procedure and physical features as well as providing extra support and aids such as specialist teachers and equipment.
The collage meets these requirements by providing * Disabled access throughout the whole building with use of lifts and ramps. * Specialised disabled toilets including showers and a bath with a harness to provide easy access for the physically impaired. * adapted learning materials including enlarged text in various fonts and sizes and hand-outs in coloured paper * laptops and computer with large screens and modified keyboards * Specialist software such as electronic spell checkers etc. * Interpreters and support workers specialised in sign language. * One too One support
