Economics is my favourite subject since I was young. That’s why I chose Trade Economics as my major for my undergraduate study. From the history, we can see economics and free market changed human’s life and even behaviors, and none of these changes can come true without the economics. I think the MSc Economics and Strategy for Business programme at imperial business school will help me advance to the next stage of my studies. By studying at imperial, I can systematically and theoretically acquire up-to-date economics knowledge and enhance my skills to identify real life business issues, especially the economic scenarios encountered in the greater China area. More importantly, what I have been experienced and learned make me confident that I have the ability to meet the requirements of this program of Imperial College London and make my own contributions to it.
Academically, I am ready for the academic pursuit on a higher level. In 2009, I successfully passed the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) and by the admission into School of Business in Renmin University, one of the “211 and 985 Projected” universities in China. I chose Trade Economics as my bachelor major because through the economics study, I could not only learn how economic activity and wealth is measured and reported, but also have the chance to learn the ways that enterprises transact business, their methods of financing, and how to invest through equip with the main tools of the professional economist such as economic theory and econometrics. I have done my best to study and research a series of professional subjects, including Circulation of Market and Commodity, Commercial Business, Marketing, Principle and Policy of International Trade, Business English, etc. According to the great efforts I have paid, I have laid very solid foundation of my major. To achieve my career ambition, I tried my best to improve myself. I hold strong academic ability and potential. As far as I know, my
