Step 1: What is the problem?
Diabetic father is not fallowing his medical regiment to keep his blood sugar down.
Step 2: What are the alternatives?
Have the doctor changing diet, eating habits, and exercise.
Or
Giving up on his quality of life, hurting oneself and stressing the family more.
Step 3: What are the advantages and/or disadvantages of each alternative?
The advantages of the change in his diet and exercise, he will lose weight and improve his overall health and help his heart rate and control his blood pressure.
The disadvantages of changes his diet and exercise is it will be hard change to his daily life, he will need to be diligent on his carbohydrate intake along …show more content…
The solution is simple he needs to accept that he needs help, and change his quality of life and take control of his diabetes.

The solution to his problem takes time and steps must be taken, but so far he seems to understand and is started to take better care of himself.

These five steps are such a great way to look at all of our decision making is something that can be applied to our everyday decision making. I didn’t realize that I had taken these steps in order to help me with a career path it was a choice that I needed to make and also took a while to accept.
