It isn’t uncommon for an individual with a mental illness to relapse, and due to this the appropriate measures should be made in order to provide help to him or her, and others depending on the illness of the individual. For example, let say that an individual suffers from OCD. The individual will then meet a therapist who will help him/her manage the OCD, in a way in which the OCD will no longer control the patient. Little by little the patient will be able to gain control of their thoughts and the compulsions and obsessions will subside, however, it will not completely go away. The individual will be able to lead a normal life, however, the OCD may come back, sometimes even stronger than ever.
