. Specific Purpose: The use of a cell phone while driving can be very dangerous and life threatening.
. Central idea: There should be a nationwide ban on the use of cell phones while driving.

. Introduction: Driving and using a cell phone should be made a felony
. Key point #1: It should be banned because it distracts drivers
. Key point #2: It should be banned because can be very dangerous and it puts people health and well being at risk.

    With the world becoming more dependent on technology to drive our daily lives, the rate of accidents caused by distracted driving is increasing. According to an article in USA Today entitled "Yes, Cellphones can be Dangerous. No, a Nationwide Ban Won't work," distracted drivers are twenty-three times more likely to crash than drivers who are focused. Although there are other reasons for the cause of this issue, the largest factor in distracted driving is cell phones. Despite recent efforts to minimize cell phone use in the car, one single solution cannot be agreed upon by the people of the United States.
