Public transportation is a form of transportation that many people depend on, including myself. Many people in high school, university and even people who need to work rely on these services. Not everyone can drive or afford to buy a car. Not to mention seniors who can no longer drive and don’t have any other way to get around. Of course there are some other solutions like a taxi for example. Taxis can be relatively expensive depending on how far your destination is. But how do people really feel about these services? Is it something they dislike in their everyday lives? Perhaps they have nothing against it and are actually grateful that this type of transportation exists. Observations need to be made to figure out how people feel about these services and what they do, where they sit, how they interact while in this environment. Now that this form of transportation has been cancelled for a period of time have people realized how much they have depended on this form of transportation? How much more of a hassle it is to not have it around? Or possibly the public have found a positive side to this issue. For example they might have started walking, biking, or even rollerblading. Which is a great way to start off the day and increasing their energy for school. The public find benefits from public transportation but I believe they also find disadvantages, either way it is better to have this choice of transportation around for people who rely on it.…

The rapid growth of India’s urban population has put enormous strains on all transport systems. Burgeoning travel demand far exceeds the limited supply of transport infrastructure and services. Public transport, in particular, has been completely overwhelmed. Most bus and train services are overcrowded, undependable, slow, inconvenient, uncoordinated and dangerous. Moreover, the public ownership and operation of most public transport services has greatly reduced productivity and inflated costs. India’s cities desperately need improved and expanded public transport service. Unfortunately, less government financial assistance and the complete lack of any supportive policies, such as traffic priority for buses, place public transport in an almost impossible situation. That’s why people preferring private transport facility over pubic for their convenience and safety purposes.…
