Recently, budget cuts in the American public school system have increased classes mostly impart to less teachers. These budget cuts have had a snowball affect down to the available education professional jobs. With such large class sizes many student do not receive necessary individualized learning with their teachers. As a result, students fall behind because teachers are unable to be as attentive to their learning shortcomings. When some teachers are let go, other teachers are forced to teach more classes and spend less time making sure everyone understand and more time just trying to keep all the children up to date. In Private Schools in America the student to teacher ratio is fifteen to one in more than fifty percent of schools. In private school the student pays to be there hence, they are paying the teachers. Since there is tuition in most private schools teachers are not laid off as much and there are more teachers to help students. They receive the one on one time they need.
As recently seen on television extra curricular activities in school such as counseling, sports and especially music are being cut in public
