Pumpkin Informative Speech
Halloween is a holiday that is only celebrated in America so there are traditions that many people do not know how to do if they wanted to follow traditions like how to carve a pumpkin.Even if you already know how to carve a pumpkin there may be tools that come with carving that you have no idea what to do with or each year your pumpkins keep getting worse.Though many people in America know how to carve a pumpkin there are people around the world that have never participated in the tradition of pumpkin carving and there are many of us that have been doing it wrong.

The first step is getting the tools and making sure you have a place that you don't mind getting pumpkin goop all over.If you buy a pumpkin carving kit with the tools and book

If you bought a design book there are two ways you can put the paper on because there are different types of paper in the books .If not then begin to use your small knife to cut out the design you chose, but make sure that you chose a design that is for carving or make sure when you're cutting that you leave part of the design attached to the rest of the pumpkin so it doesn’t fall in.The first way if you have a design book is to wet the entire page so it sticks to the pumpkin but only do this if your design is paper and does not have little dots lining the paper so you can punch it out.Then use a pencil or that little poker tool to poke along the dark part of the design.After that then take the design off and dry of your pumpkin so you can use the marker to trace along the dots that you made.Then use the small knife to cut along the marker lines. If there are little dots then the second way is to punch out the dark part of the design and to tape it to the pumpkin.Make sure it is flat across the pumpkin so you can use the the marker and trace around the holes that are there from the parts that you punched out.Then take the paper off and use your small knife to carve along the marks you
