Pumpkin Island Chapter 1: Screams explode around me. As the world fades away. I catch glimpses of yellow and red streaking past me. My instincts are telling me to stay still, but, the catastrophe occurring around me is begging me to run. Before I determine my next action, a fiery sensation takes me back. I look down as my ripple of black slowly climbs up my leg. As I try to run, I lose my balance and end up landing on something sharp. Realizing I had just impaled myself with the spear I was holding. Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait Come Back!” The cruise ship fades from the distance, leaving me stranded. We need to find food as soon as possible,” I yell across the field of sand coursing through my feet as I sprint parallel to the ocean. Due to the unbearable weather conditions, we reside in the forest. The trees provide a wonderful habitat for us because of the shade, and the subtle cool breeze allows some resistance to the heat. Sophie and Eleana stick together to build permanent housing units for everyone. Eleana was a past girls’ scout, which provides some reassurance to our hopeful survival. I anticipated the thought of making a new civilization, but suddenly a large rumble shook the entire floor. Without caution, a wave of vibrations …show more content…
The rusted figure looks as though it has been decades. Moss had infected the side of the ship and termites inhabited the statue. The odor ever so slightly emerges from the corpse of the abused ship. The bottom half of the boat is missing. It seems like it has been buried under the group. While exploring the concave insides of the ship, they found archaic scrolls written in a foreign language. As we unravel the scroll, a map revealing our current location is shown. As we gather around the campfire, we talk about the discovery of the ship. Sophie believes that the ship teleported there, however, we all deem that a mere facade. However, my logical explanation would be as an old traveler was traveling the sea, they scratched the surface of some coral reef that caused flooding within the ship and they were stranded on the island. However, the more I think about it, it still doesn’t explain why the ship is halfway underground unless the top half is still preserved. The group told me not to worry because it is not a big deal. Chapter 6: The group and I were all shaken away by the tantrum thrown at Mother Earth. The whole thing began shaking again. This was less shocking in comparison to the first time. The waves retreated into the ocean, flowing away from us. The roar this time felt heavier. This earthquake continued for at least 5 minutes before it
