Essay: Quality Of Life: Canada There are many countries in the world that represent high or low quality of life. Quality of life means a general well-being or happiness of a person or society, as measured by meeting basic needs. There are many aspects of a country that can be looked at to see if that country has a high or low quality of life. For example, seeing if everyone there is treated the same or people getting treated better than others, also known as equality or inequality. Also, finding information about their indicators or measurements or seeing who they are trading with. Canada’s rank in quality of life is 1st (usnews.com). Canada is known to have the highest quality of life ratings. One of the reasons is due to their education system, which allows for more people to have job opportunities also allowing everyone to learn. Jobs provide families with a source of income which allows people to live in homes, eat healthy food including living an active lifestyle. By allowing many people to get an education in Canada, there are more people able to work in hospitals, schools and more. This could also lead to having a better life expectancy. Canada is known to have an impressively strong education system and opportunities (weforum.org). The reason is, 90% of adults between the ages 25 to 64 have completed upper secondary education (oecdbetterlifeindex.com). In Canada everyone has the rights to have their education. For instance, no matter how rich or poor, or if you have a disability everyone in the country is entitled to free education in public schools.
