Queen Elizabeth 1 Research Paper
Do any of you know who Queen Elizabeth the 1st is? Well if you don’t than I am here to tell you a bit about her. Queen Elizabeth the 1st was born in September on the 7th 1533 and died in March on the 24th 1603. Queen Elizabeth never had kids and her mother got executed at a young age from her Husband King Henry 8th.

My first question was, What reasons did people think Queen Elizabeth the 1st was a boy? People thought she was a boy because there was a belief that she died of an illness at a young age, the nurse that was looking over her didn’t want to be executed for letting King Henry the 8th daughter die. The nurse had to find a female that looked like Queen Elizabeth, but the nurse couldn’t find one so she found a male instead.
King Henry wanted to see Queen Elizabeth the morning she died so that didn’t leave much time for the nurse to find another child to replace Elizabeth. …show more content…
Some of the causes could of been was illness, blood poisoning and depression. Most of the research sites I found said that Elizabeth 1st died of an illness. My last question is what the judgement was made about Queen Elizabeth not being married? When King Henry died Queen Elizabeth moved with her stepmother and her step mother got married to a guy named Thomas Seymour. Thomas Seymour was having an affair with Queen Elizabeth. There were a lot of rumours about why she never married. Some of these rumours were she was a male and the scandal with Thomas. So this is why she never married because of what happen to her in her life.

    Queen Elizabeth I, also known as “The Virgin Queen,” was one of the most famous monarchs of all time and her reign was called The Golden Age. It was not too long before King Henry VIII rectified this by going before the Pope and requesting an annulment from Queen Katherine. It was at that time, Elizabeth’s half-sister Mary, the daughter of King Henry VIII and Queen Katherine of Aragon, was named illegitimate. Elizabeth’s mother, Queen Anne, was unable to provide a son to the king and was executed for supposed adultery, when Elizabeth was only two years old. Shortly after her mother’s death, Elizabeth was declared illegitimate and her place in the line of succession was taken away, her reputation was tarnished because of her mother’s speculated infidelity and other scandalous matters. After her mother’s death, Elizabeth had many stepmothers throughout her childhood, Jane Seymour died giving birth to the King’s only son, Prince Edward; Anne of Cleves whom King Henry VII divorced; Catherine Howard was beheaded; and finally Katherine Parr, who was the only wife of King Henry VII to outlive him.…
