Life is sometimes a handful. Life is sometimes a piece of cake. Most people would agree with me that life is a huge ball of stress sometimes. In the book 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher, Hannah Baker is experiencing very bad depression and is having very bad suicidal thoughts that nobody knows about. Sadly, Hannah ended up committing suicide before my book even started. I am trying to say that Like Hannah, we all have our moments, we all have depressing and stressful thoughts sometimes. That’s just the way life is. In my book, Clay finds Hannah's recordings and finds out that they are recorded answers, reasons, and explanations. Hannah is explaining why she took her own life.

This evidence shows that Hannah was trying to say that she needed help. It wasn’t entirely her fault, it was partially Clay’s fault for not listening, for not being there for her. Hannah wasn’t scared, she was afraid. She was afraid that Clay wouldn’t like her anymore, She was afraid to have her heart broken again. Another thing that I can connect with in this story is school. School can be very stressful at times, it can be very hard because sometimes we even have like 3 tests in one day. One day, When we had 2 or 3 tests that day, I was very stressed out. I didn’t want to tell anybody because I was afraid that people would make fun of me or thought I joking of they didn’t believe me.“We only had one night, and by the end of that night, it seemed like I knew her even less than before.
