The help is the movie that covers about race discrimination, this film apply the setting in 1960s and capture discrimination between white people and black . The story wrapped with conflicts that the characters dominated by the woman in a town called Jackson. Every scene in the movie tells about their unpleasant behaviour (white people) to their maids (black people).
The story begins with flashback scene that represent the interview a housemaid with the black skin.
Her name is Aibileen (Viola Davis), she describes how she spent her life time to serve and take care of the daughter of her master.
The conflict continue when Aibileen always get a problem from her master. One day, Hilly (Bryce Dalias Howard) as the house-wife or as the leader from sociality group. Hilly has a disgusting theory, that the maids (Black people) must have their own toilet because the black people can infect disease to them (White people) if they use the same toilet. Hilly fired her maid because her maid use the same toilet, even her maid not urinate yet, she still fired her maid. Then the sociality group use this Hilly despicable theory for their maid (black people).
Then Skeeter (Emma Stone) appears, a woman with curly gold hair, she think different from the sociality group who lead by Hilly. Skeeter think that what Hilly and sociality group do is wrong. Skeeter wanted to change sociality group mind about their maid.
In the ending of this film, Aibileen out from her master house.
From my point of view, The Help is really amazing, because the actor mostly is a woman and the story tell that Skeeter and Celia treat the black people without discrimination. The value message from this film is don’t discriminate the black people because they are same with us, they are a human who need justice and humanity.
