Not soon after that they heard the bell and everyone hurried to their hiding places. Bree and her brother Devin were in charge of hiding themselves and their three younger siblings and they already had a good hiding spot in the woods, near a river.
When they got near the hiding spot Bree went to tie up the tree and Devin took the younger kids to the concealed location. The Vikings wailed out to Thor their god of lightening, but Bree encouraged all of the Irish people to pray to the one true God to save them from the storm. The storm got so bad that the Viking sailors were talking about throwing the prisoners overboard to please their god. Bree was very frightened, she mustered up all the courage that she had and stood up and started praying as loud as she could to the Lord. The prisoners repeated the words she said and suddenly the storm stopped. “It’s a miracle!” the Vikings said, dumbfounded, but Bree and the other Prisoners knew exactly what really happened and praised the Lord for saving their lives. The next day they reached Norway and Bree made a plan of escape, but while she was running she heard the sound of a dog chasing her. That is where the book ends and leads on to the next book of the

The theme of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” is their use of plot. This is because the story shows us that taking chances and being adventurous with life helps you discover new and exciting things. The thing that the filmmakers are trying to tell us is to go out and experience these new things so that you can make the most out of life like Indiana Jones but not to be too reckless like the people that opened the ark and payed the price for it. This lesson is successful because it’s demonstrating the excitement of exploring the world in search of new finds that are interesting and could benefit the world. If I were the director of this film however I wouldn’t have left a kind of cliffhanger at the end of the film that left some unanswered questions…
