In the beginning, Momma’s character is portrayed as a hard, rigid woman. Even in the “bitterest of winter”, Momma would make her grandchildren wash every single inch of their body. She would even pull the quilts off the children’s feet once they were in bed, just to make certain that they were clean; and if they weren’t, she would grab the “emergency switch” and strike the offender a couple of times.…

Will Grayson, will grayson is a collaboration book between John Green and David Levithan where two separate stories of two teenage boys named Will Grayson collide. The first Will’s goal is to follow his rules he established for life. 1) Don’t care too much, and 2) Shut up. He spends most of his life following around his friend, Tiny Cooper, and repressing his feelings, as seen here, *excerpt 1*. The other will is a misunderstood, angry, angsty sort of kid. He hides everything he feels. This will has depression, not many friends, and a stressed out mom. He puts her through so much. *excerpt 2* The book may seem like it would be confusing to follow but there is a big difference between the two will graysons. One is Will Grayson with correct capitalization, and the other is will grayson, with no capitalization at all. This way, the reader can distinguish John Green’s and David Levithan’s writing.…

The story’s plot is, there is a girl that makes plans when they get home from a trip. The mother then explains to her daughter that they are going to be going out again. The daughter does not take this very well and gets very angry towards her mother. She then proceeds to storm off to her room and lay on her bed and cry. The mother then tries to talk to her daughter, but she is too mad at her to even talk. This shows that the mother and daughter are very tense at this moment in time. The daughter is clearly very angry at the mom because all they ever do is travel and the one time she makes plans, her mother says they have to travel again. If I were this girl I would also be very upset with my mother, but it would be ok because she is probably doing it so that she can support me and feed me. Although, the girl is very hostile right now, she still loves her mother. Also, it is not only the daughter that is tense, it is also the mother. The mother is tense because she knows that her daughter is angry at her, and that she will have to make it up to her to make things…
