Money is the cause of both peace and disagreement. Now, people are seeing the truth behind what money can bring out, but more people still continue to strive for it. It make sense because without money, no one would be able to function in a world like this. People just want more and more and more! However, what they do not realize is that if the economy gets a raise as a whole (increasing minimum wage) business will begin to raise their price as well according to the amount of increase in minimum wage. It would not make sense to keep items for the price they currently are while people are continuing to get a bigger paycheck. Businesses will raise their prices in order to develop enough income to support their own employees. EBS Consulting reported an issue on some cons on minimum wage. They brought up increase in prices, they said, “ If this happens, then the goods and services that low-wage workers could afford wouldn't be much different than they were before the increase” (n.p.). If the price due continue to grow, then nothing would change. People believe that with an increase in minimum wage, they would become wealthier, when in fact nothing would change. Some people believe that it will actually be beneficial, while some believe the opposite. One of the most known supporters for pro raise in minimum wage is the current President of the United States, Barack Obama. He believes that raising the amount will help the people of America. Looking at some of the points he has made, makes complete sense. He talks about how it will help the economy and how it will be beneficial. However, what he does not shed light upon is the disadvantages to having a higher minimum wage. Increasing the amount will not be very beneficial, instead it will result in everything working the way it currently is but more expensive and more people
