The article entitled “Ralph Lauren,” the author discusses the Ralph Lauren Company. First, the author notes how the “Ralph Lauren Corporation is a publicly traded, United States-based holding company that, through its subsidiaries designs, markets and sells men 's, women 's and children 's apparel, accessories, fragrances and home furnishings to customers worldwide.” According to the author, the company went international in 1981, with the first store opening on New Bond Street in the West end of London. …show more content…

It is true, as Nathaniel Parish Flannery points out, that the Ralph Lauren Corporation has agreed to pay more than 1.6 million for accusations of bribery (Flannery). However, this issue will have little or no effect on the company’s day-to-day operations. As stated earlier, the Ralph Lauren Corporation had a 1-year high of $181.07 a share. (Byerly).
