RATIONALE
This project helps to explain the main reasons behind of having poor study habits of college students specifically at the University of Cebu Lapu-lapu and Mandaue.

The objectives of the this project were to find out the reason of student improper study behaviour, to identify aspects of these which might make students vulnerable to withdrawal or failure, low grades and to identify and recommend the sort of student ‘best practice’ which fosters success and which could form the basis of efforts to support students who are at risk of leading their selves in an improper study attitude.

A survey questionnaire was made and will be answered by random students, questioning some information, study habits attitudes, expectations of their studies and experiences, their point of view to their instructors and subject. A number of 50 random students in different course of degree will answer this survey questionnaire. Through this we will be basing mostly of our research through the questionnaire that has been distributed and answered by the students. We believe that through this research project that we will be doing will help explain that why there are some students at the University of Cebu lapu-Lapu and Mandaue have a poor study habits. We will also be coming up information, conclusions and recommendation that may help the students, instructors and the University of Cebu Lapu-lapu and Mandaue analysed and solve this problem.

THEORITICAL BACKGROUND
All too often, students perform poorly in school simply because they lack good study habits. In many cases, students don't know where to begin, don't fully understand the material, are not motivated by it, or feel that there was too much work given to them with too little time to complete or study it. If their studying skills do not improve, these students will continue to test poorly and not perform to their fullest potential.
