I believe forming good study habits and organizational skills is a great start on a path to success in studies. By developing these habits and skills, the student will find herself/himself working more efficiently and experiencing much less stress in the process of learning. Having effective study habits creates a more appropriate academic environment. Moreover, students who organize their lives and stick to their established study schedules are confident and relaxed .Good study habits are a result of practice and knowing what methods are most effective. For example, when studying, stay away from distractions, such as the computer, telephone. Finally, it‘s important to recognize that in order to succeed you need to make decisions about your priorities, your time, and your resources.
Other characteristics of good learners are:
Attitude: Basically, a good student possesses the ability and willingness to learn new subjects even if they are not interesting.
Academic skills: The ability to read comprehensively, to write effectively, to speak fluently, and to communicate clearly are the key areas in which a good student must be proficient. Having skills in all these areas will make a student in class.

Perceptiveness: How well a student can interpret and perceive meanings from a conversation greatly determines the quality of a good student.
