ABSTRACT
Nowadays, Jawi script seldom is being used in our live especially new generation because of the existence and popularity of Romanised Malay script. In order to keep Jawi script from extinction, there are still a few researchers or students that concern in Jawi script and they still doing research on Jawi script such as Romanised Malay script to
Jawi script converter and also create a few Jawi based game to attract new generation to learn Jawi script. The main purpose of this research is to broaden the existing Romanised Malay script to Jawi script converter into one further step; that enable Jawi learner to experience on every single Romanised Malay word they type will be converted to equivalent Jawi word which can help them to learn how to spell word in Jawi script. Romanised Malay – Jawi dictionary and Malay stemmer algorithm with Romanised Malay – Jawi rules are used during Romanised Malay to
Jawi transliteration in order to speed up the process of transliteration and to minimise spelling errors.
