Between 5 and 10 minutes of walking they stopped in an opening, then turned around and began to walk back towards the LSA. Before returning to the LSA they turned into an open Civil Engineering (CE) yard and walked around inside for approximately 5 minutes looking around. At first they climbed up inside a sky watch tower and stayed there for approximately a minute. After a minute they climbed down from the sky watch tower and proceeded to head towards a large tent within the CE yard. The male began to struggle with opening the door and it was obvious that he was trying to force his way in. Consequently it was obvious that he did not have a code or key to gain access to the tent. After a minute or so of struggling, the male went to a part of the tent and forced the tent open with his hands and gained entry to the tent. By the time that patrols arrived on scene, both suspects were inside the

My hypothesis is if sport drinks are consumed, then the reaction rate will improve. Sport drinks provide individuals with the required amount of water, carbohydrates and electrolytes (sodium and potassium) which is lost in sweat while exercising. Maintaining adequate electrolyte levels will enable better cell function, which is needed for muscle endurance, among other bodily capabilities when exercising. On the other end Glucose is an important source of energy, and water balance is required to maintain blood pressure and proper tissue functions. Even though water contains the required amounts of sodium and potassium, water…

Hautzinger and, Scandlyn’s “Decentering PTSD: A War Outgrows a Diagnosis” is about post traumatic stress disorder(PTSD) and how it's an invisible wound among soldiers .Many soldiers believed that in order to come out of the war those that are claiming to have PTSD are lying. PTSD is socially or culturally constructed. American physicians said many soldiers came to them about physical abnormalities who actually had none. And that is a sign of PTSD. There is a difference of PTSD in today’s soldiers and soldiers from the Civil War. Soldiers from the Civil War showed disturbance of the heart and today’s soldiers show disturbance of their behavior. During World War I PTSD was known as shell shock which many believed happened due to exposure to blasts. They were blamed for malingering or escaping the war and the punishment is severe for not showing ‘enough’ patriotism, such as electric shock so that they will be back into service. However in 1980, PTSD was considered to be normal. Those who engage in wars suffers from PTSD only they can understand and feel what it is or how it is therefore their pain is often ignored by the rests around them. Those in charge instead of being suspicious of those who suffers from it should provide treatment and compensation.…

Red Bull’s popularity and status as the number one energy drink in the market reflects the importance allocated to marketing. The company’s hegemony in the energy drink industry is a reflection of their adherence to a multifaceted strategic management plan that considers the imperativeness of environmental factors. As competition increases, companies strive to differentiate themselves through common shared principles to retain customers. In the case of Red Bull and their annual sales of “4,204 billion cans and average annual growth of 7.6%” (Red Bull USA, 2012), it can be argued that the company has acquired an almost absolute advantage. Red Bull has created competitive strategies for its segment of the industry and continues to dominate most of their competition. The company prides itself on their ability to entice consumers on the singularity of its merchandise, brand recognition, competitive price offers, and convenience on domestic and international levels. Armstrong and Kotler define environmental/situational influences as “all those factors particular to a time and place that do not follow from a knowledge of the stable attributes of the consumer and the stimulus and that have an effect on current behavior” (Armstrong & Kotler, 2011). Red Bull understands the pertinence of these factors in the decision-making process and therefore, engineers its marketing and sales strategies in accordance. In order to deliver value to the company and its shareholders, Red Bull’s environmental scan considers factors such as stakeholder analysis, the energy drink industry/market, competitor analysis, demographic variables, psychographic variables, and economic trends.…
