The blurred surroundings I have seen only a few seconds ago gradually cleared up and I could now see the busy people walking outside. There were some people going in and out of shops, some were looking through the windows, some were laughing as they walk in groups holding their shopping bags. I could now see an old man reading the daily newspaper as he sat in the quaint coffee shop with his cup of coffee on the table and a certain pastry beside it. I could see a beggar sitting in the street asking the passers by some spare change, He was carrying a sack and was wearing an old and dirty shirt and a pair of shorts.
I continued to look around as I frustratingly waited for the light. I saw four little boys running around, they were smiling and laughing as they chase each other near the intersection. They didn’t seem to care what might happen to them or how dangerous what they are doing if they keep on playing near the intersection. As I observe my surroundings more, I saw a little girl about 8 years old a bit small for her age and a little skinny. She was knocking on the windows of the cars convincing them to buy her sampaguita though some people were gesturing her that they were not interested. If a car would tell her they don’t want to buy she would just sigh and try her chances at the other cars. She’s risking her life to sell those flowers so that she could have money; She was to young
