Based on the tenets of the ABC Model, there may be insufficient prompts or consequences for the desired behaviors, resulting in unwanted ramifications. The deviations within the check-in process include handling of insurance verification, collections, and overall dialogue between patients and employees. Despite the cues the electronic health records system (EHR) provide for staff to ensure all necessary information is both collected and correct, several vital fields are consistently left incomplete. Usually, there is a discussion and reiteration of the antecedents but no direct consequence to this behavior. Using the ABC Model as a guideline, it is a lack of negative consequences for poor performance as well as a lack of positive reinforcements for excellent performance that require revision in order to generate the desired behaviors for the check-in process. Tracking errors through analytical reports would give us the information to determine which employees are performing well. Showing the employees their results and discussing any obstacles to the work, we can then proceed to monitor the work. Once we have a consistent reporting platform, a reward system can be set in place for a consistent and excellent check-in
