Reflection On Ap English Language

Personally, both of my AP courses, AP Biology and AP English Language, were the most challenging. Throughout the year my grades for these two classes fluctuated quite often. My peers and I were given more work and more was expected from us being AP students. From this year coming to an end I have discovered several of my strengths and weaknesses, I found that, like most students, I procrastinated and I had trouble managing my time however I was still able to maintain a positive attitude by being optimistic and finishing my assignments with my best effort. This year was packed with a vast amount of work to complete and expectations to achieve. This year I decided to enroll in CTE courses after school, this only decreased my hours in a day, my
intentions are not to complain but to explain my difficulties and how I struggled to increase my knowledge, prepare myself for the future, and to better myself as a scholar. There are multiple assignments/projects that I am extremely proud of, to start off I am very proud of my Plant a Solution drawing, I believe that this piece truly shows my growth as an artist from freshmen year to junior year, even though art is not considered ‘academic’ it is one of the classes that I have been most proud of my work in. However a project that could have been completed better and was not, was my project for AP Biology on the subject of genetic engineering, this assignment was a group project so I feel that if there were to have been better communication then the project could have been improved. The design of the project as in the visual appeal was not the best so this could have been better if there was more communication between my group and I. From this I have learned to manage my time better and improve my communication skills.
