I have experienced that first hand, when I first came to the USA I did not have legal documents. I was a 17-year-old man with a dream; to work hard, and help my mother and siblings back in Mexico. As I waited for the right moment to cross into the USA, my heart was beating hard, my hands were sweating, and my tummy was feeling nauseous; nevertheless, the hopes, dreams, and goals gave me the strength to do it, so I started to slowly make my way through the border. Yes, but I would say that the Hielo video dazzle me. It is very emotional, and inspirational at the same time. The article about Nativist was important because I did not know what it meant. I liked how Carlos Moreno uses sarcasm, and the way he challenges people to learn about the Chicano/a meaning.
