• Professionalism – throughout my placement I have demonstrated professionalism in terms of presentation (made myself look presentable), reliability (shown up on time every day) and honesty (at the start of placement when I was struggling I explained this with my supervisor and practice educator). Through being honest I’ve also recognised the importance of supervision and how this contributes to my placement. The time in supervision allows me to express my concerns and acknowledge things that are going well. For example, at the start of my placement there was a lack of learning opportunities, but I acknowledged that I was learning new things about substance misuse.
