By doing this I have also, like you have learned to navigate thought all the ideas until one of them is most interesting to write about. My down sides and trouble comes when I try to write all these ideas, I often get stuck trying to spell correctly a word and by doing this I briefly forget my idea making a simple task take longer that usual. I started recording my self and this has help me mitigate my trouble forgetting what were my ideas while letting my mind go wild. I can then listen to what I was brainstorming about then while writing and if needed to, I can stop conduct some research and start

My writing process all depends on what I am writing. Some writings I can sit down and write the whole things and be done with it, while others can take me multiple days or even weeks. I normally sit down and work on it until I finish, get tired of it, or a hit a roadblock. I try to stop when I feel like I am writing the same thing over and over or if I feel like I just need a break. Most of the time, if I feel like I am writing and it is really bad, it is because it is and I need to take a break and come back to it later. Working on it in pieces normally works well for me, to break it up and take it a little bit at a time. I normally struggle when I do not like what I am writing about or when I run out of information to put in my writing. I…

During my writing process, I came across a tolerable amount of obstacles. I felt the tendency to occupy a higher quality word choice, as well as better sentence structure. Sentence structure was especially arduous, for I found a great deal of simple sentences in my narrative introduction. However, I did overcome these obstacles with the help of my peer-checking partner, my classmates around me, and my background knowledge in regards to applying what I already know into my assignments. On the contrary, there were a few things I could facilitate. As I write down or think of proposals to apply to my assignments, it is almost as if the suggestions are pouring from out of my head, onto the paper. I write down what I feel sounds right, and if ultimately…

I am very structured and organized when writing my essays. Instead of starting with a thesis, I write from the very beginning to the end. This writing process only causes issues when I am writing a paragraph and I start thinking and having ideas for another different paragraph. To fix this issue, when I start drifting off topic I plot down as much of the ideas I can in a separate paragraph and come back to it later. I generally do not write outlines, but write a complete rough draft first. Because of this, I usually write more than I need to, and must then cut out unnecessary sentences from my papers. After writing many papers this semester, I learned the best approach for me to tackle any…

Throughout my writing career, I have observed several aspects with the potential to shape any writer’s success. Among the elements, the most influential of them is the English course in which the student enrolls. Moreover, English courses hold influence over a student’s life in that they have a responsibility to either advance or reduce the writer’s skills. November 2009, a moment in my life will never be forgotten. My day started off as it usually would. Started my morning off with a nice warm shower, brushed my teeth and picked out my outfit for the day. That weekend I was so excited to travel to the Bronx New York to spend time with family and friends. My best friend picked me up from my mom’s house and then down to the gas station as I’m pumping the gas I see my best friend walking towards the car with serious face. As he approached the car while I’m pumping the gas he told me that my mom was trying to call my cell phone. I called my mom and I say “hello”. I was so confused to why she answered the phone with a sad voice. She replies “Jon I’m sorry? Your great grandmother passed away?” I said “NO SHE DIDN’T SHE KNOWS IM GOING TO SEE HER THIS WEEKEND! NO MOM NO that’s not true”. I quickly hung up and called my grandmother Amy phone but, there was no answer. Then I get a call back from my grandmother. She answers “I’m sorry son.” Me scared and confused “Grandma! Grandma it’s me Jon Where’s abuela? Put Abuela on the phone.” she takes a deep breath and I hear her crying “I’m sorry Jon I’m so sorry for your lost.” I start to cry, feel sick and my heart feels heavy, “What no this is not abuela we are talking about! This not funny put her on the phone grandma.” she replies “Jon like I said I’m sorry. The family is meeting up at the hospital to talk.” She hung up. I looked at my best friend and he seen my face as I began to breath heavy even harder and cry more and more he grabbed me and rubbed my back and told me “I’m sorry everything will be ok”. We begin the drive back to my mom house. The drive back to my mom house I told my best friend to pull over and let me catch my breath. My heart felt so heavy.
