Everybody has a favorite medical drama. My mom loves ER, my co-workers adore Grey’s Anatomy, but me: I’m partial to House M.D. I’m drawn to the disabled, drug-addicted doctor who solves puzzles too big for other doctors. And, like many other shows of the genre, House features queer people in an interesting light. Sure it has the caricature of the effeminate, gay, male nurse and once even features an especially campy trans* individual, these characters are often thrown in to get a laugh out of the viewing public.
