Abortionist- The Life Taking Decision
Abortion is one of the many things that everybody has their own opinion about. Abortion is one of the worst things that has happened to the world. The debate about whether to have an abortion or not to have an abortion has been going on for many years. One of the problems is deciding when life actually starts. When a mother chooses to have an abortion she is taking the life of an unborn child. Why is it illegal to take an adult’s life? This has been labeled as murder by anti-abortion activists. Every murder should be treated the same rather than letting someone get away with taking an innocent child’s life. In the eyes of most Americans, abortion is murder. But there are ways to prevent this crisis.
There are many different ways to prevent abortion. One way is to not get pregnant. The women who want to prevent pregnancies should take the birth control pill which was approved by the FDA as a prescription drug in 1998. Abortion will always be a controversial topic in which everyone will not agree. In this controversy, two groups have been created. These groups are referred to as pro-life and pro-choice. Pro-life supporters claim that life begins at conception, therefore, abortion at any stage in the pregnancy is murder. They believe that life is valuable and the life of the unborn has the same rights as the mother. Pro-choice supporters, on the other hand, claim that it’s the woman’s right to choose what she does because its her baby. These pro-abortionists claim that anti-abortionists are truly against the rights of women and free choice rather than the termination of the unborn. However, in the eighteen hundreds abortion in the United States became illegal.http://abortion.procon.org Due to the lack of medical education, procedures such as abortions were very dangerous. As medical advancements largely impart to the fact that

Personally, I think that any form of abortion is tantamount to murder, and should never be permitted. This article only brings to my attention that women who wish to have abortions are only concerned for themselves, as the argument is based upon the health of the woman. Although the author’s argument may be valid concerning some facets of the issue, I believe the focus of the subject should shift from the mother to the living creature inside and its right to…

Jonathan Glover, in his article Matters of Life and Death casts dispersions on both pro-abortion and anti-abortion debates citing them as too knee-jerk emotional reactions diminishing the inherent complexity of the other side (1. Glover, CC2006, p. 0110). Glover comprehensively addresses the key points of both sides of the abortion debate and evaluates their inherent virtues, especially for those who hold these opinions, then methodically points out its flaws. Ultimately, Glover comes to the conclusion that though a fetus is a human at the moment of conception, the right to abort lies with the mother and her own self-determination.…

There are a mass amount of controversies when the word “abortion” is brought into awareness. This dispute has brought about both positive and negative affects on society. Abortion plays a major role in the everyday life of a human. People base their political parties, and even the jobs they choose to work at, all depending whether the host is pro-life or pro-choice. I personally am pro-life. I have made the decision of being pro-life based on multiple observations. Some of these observations include you are murdering your own child, you need to face the consequences of your actions, and to give people who are not able to have their own offspring a chance to be a mother/parent.…

Abortion, a medical practice that results in termination of a human pregnancy, dates back to ancient Egypt and is recorded in the Ebers Papyrus, a medical text from the time of 1550 BCE (“When Did Abortion…”, par. 2). Abortion is a hot topic that is currently sweeping the US and has been for many years now. There are two stances citizens tend to take on the issue of abortion: pro-choice and pro-life. Many people do not advocate strongly for either; they lie somewhere in the middle gray area. Both people who are pro-choice and pro-life have coherent grounds for believing in such. It is logical to base such reasoning on evidence to prove their claims. The people who are pro-choice have several reasons to support their stance, although those who…

Abortion is a term used for the termination of the pregnancy by removing of the embryo or the fetus from the uterus of a woman. The abortion takes place in two ways. It can be induced abortion or it can be spontaneous abortion. In the induced abortion, the pregnancy is aborted intentionally, but the spontaneous abortion take place of its own due to some natural or accidental reasons. But whatever be the reason, the word abortion is always a burning issue in the society and politics. In the United States, abortions were legalized after the case Roe v. Wade, 1973 ruled that laws banning abortion were unconstitutional. Since then, groups supporting the right to abortion (“pro choice”) and groups against abortion (“pro life”) have continued to have ideological battles over which argument should be the law of the land. However, a woman is best capable of deciding whether or not she is able and willing to care for a child. Thus, she should similarly be able to decide whether or not she wishes to terminate an unwanted pregnancy.…

People who choose to have abortions done, most of them probably do not know how it is done, or they just do not care due to their own selfishness and ignorance. There are different excuses that they use for having abortions. People who are pro-choice think that a person or mother has the right to do as she chooses with her own body (Being Pro-Choice). They believe that an embryo is not a human and has no rights of their own. Pro-choice campaigners argue that the surgical procedure is completely safe and harmless (Lowen). This is false. Choosing to have an abortion is putting a woman’s body at risk. A mother can have serious complications that can affect their health and their future pregnancies, if able to be pregnant again…

Throughout history, abortion has always had a controversial presence within the United States. The Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade determined the future of abortions and was a victory for women’s rights. Since then, american citizens have been forced to classify themselves as “pro-choice” or “pro-life”. The controversial nature of this behavior causes many arguments and disagreements between people, and especially between politicians. Abortion is an on-going debate throughout the United States. Americans divide 50% as pro-choice and 44% on pro-life. (Saad, 2015) Majority of women side with pro-choice, and being a woman myself, I stand with pro-choice. I believe that it’s an individual’s right to decide what they’re doing to their bodies, and no one else should be allowed to deny them of said right. There are many different reasons as to why someone would get an abortion. Whether it be from results of rape, birth control failure, teen pregnancy, or whatever the case may be, every abortion is thought out and no option is an easy option.…
